Description:

Spaces is a digital portfolio tool that offers several features designed for both teachers and students. One of its standout features is the Group Spaces function, which acts as an asynchronous breakout room for collaboration.

Spaces provides three main ways for users to share materials and interact:

  • Class Spaces – A shared space for the entire class to post and interact.
  • Individual Spaces – A private area where students can save and manage their personal work.
  • Group Spaces – A collaborative environment where students can be assigned to specific groups to share work with peers and their teacher.

While Group Spaces can be used to submit completed group projects, their real value lies in enabling students to share in-progress work, receive peer feedback, and engage in collaborative learning asynchronously.
