This 2024 study, published in SFU’s Open Access Journal of Applied Learning and Teaching, investigates the factors influencing students' intention to use AI-assisted learning applications in English courses through the Uses and Gratification Theory lens. The research model integrates constructs such as social, process, content, and technology gratifications, revealing significant positive effects on perceived enjoyment and intention to use AI learning apps.
