Each module includes integrated vocabulary, skill-building, skill-using and assessment tasks for each skill. Students may be assessed using either the skill-using or the formal assessment task.

Category

The bank, found on Tutela, contains a multitude of real world tasks and corresponding assessments for use by ESL and LINC instructors.  The bank also contains 16 modules built around 8 topics. The modules cover CLB 1 to CLB 7. Once logged in to Tutela, search the keyword “OCDSB” on the resources page to find all the modules. New users will need to create an account, which is free to anyone involved with language teaching for newcomers in Canada.
